ABOUT THE FILM
I co-wrote this medium-length film (40 minutes) with my brother Ryan. I also directed, shot and edited the film which stars SAG actress Marya Beauvais and co-star SAG actors J.D. Garfield, Luce Rains, and Fredrick Lopez. The story follows a fantastical adventure of a journalist searching for her lost subject, a Native American prophet on a vision quest. She soon discovers the only one lost is herself, and she must battle her darkest fears in order to stay alive.
The film was shot on-location in northern New Mexico in the spring of 2002 as part of my Senior Thesis Project at the College of Santa Fe. I edited the film myself in Austin, Texas. We premiered it at the Santa Fe Film Festival in December 2008.
